Wow you have some beautiful pictures there!
The Konark wheel looks like it is straight out of mythology to me! We have nothing so old here.. especially where I live :)
The Victoria memorials remind me of similar buildings and monuments we saw in Melbourne, which of course is in a state named after Queen Victoria.
